Employee Training & Development

Employee development programs provide a framework for employee participation in the continuous improvement of internal operations and service delivery to customers. Through training and other learning opportunities, individual skills are developed, performance is increased and career enhancement is achieved. Training services provided by the Employee Development Coordinator and other staff include:

  • Training Needs Analyses

  • In-house training on varied topics based on identified needs

  • Coordination of inside and outside training programs to meet training needs for employees of all levels

  • Identification and coordination of the use of external consultants to provide training for employees of all levels

  • Coordination and delivery of New Employee orientation program

Other services include:

  • Promotion and administration of Tuition Reimbursement Program

  • Promotion and administration of Education Incentive Program

  • Individual Career and Self-Development Counselling

  • Employee Relations
