U-3330 Widen Wesleyan Boulevard
The project to add one northbound travel lane and one southbound travel lane to Wesleyan Blvd from Benvenue Road to May Drive is approximately 80% complete. Completion of the project is anticipated in May 2020.
U-4762 Springfield Road
The widening of Springfield Road from US 64 Business to Leggett Road includes a center lane for left turns. Curb and gutter will be added, and a sidewalk installed on the west side. Construction is expected late this year.
U-5026 New Interchange at I-95 and Sunset Ave and R-5720 Eastern Ave Widening
These two projects will be let as a single design-build contract. Preliminary planning is complete and NCDOT will award the project to a design-build team in the Fall of 2019.
